Full name: Jordan Allen Nelson

Age: 25

Years skating: 20

Most Admired Person: William Allen Nelson; my Grandpa (He passed away September 2005). He meant the world to me and anyone that knows me knows what a wonderful person he was and how much of an inspiration he has always been for me.

Career highlights: 2005 World Games Member, 4th place 1000m; 2002 Senior World Team Member, 10th place Marathon Belgium; 1 Gold, 2 Silver Junior World Championships, Barrancabermeja, Colombia; 24 time Outdoor National Champion; 9-time Indoor National Champion;

Goals: To help grow the sport of inline racing while promoting the world's fastest skates, and to have a happy and healthy life. To have a long career with UPS.

Skating equipment: Bont Vapor, Sniper 100mm Frames

Skating strengths: longer races, positioning teammates for field sprint

Favourite distance: Marathon

Favourite race: Duluth Marathon

Typical training day: I don’t have one… my life is too busy with work and skating. I train when I get the chance too! I ride the bike a lot

Hobbies: Playing golf a lot and catching up on my sleep

Favourite food: Sunday brunch – Cheyenne Mountain Resort – Colorado Springs, CO. They have every kind of food there that you can imagine. I also love my Grandma’s macaroni and cheese, also my Mom’s Mississippi Mud Pie… oh man is it good!!!

Favourite Movie: Vanilla Sky, Party Monster

Dogs or Cats?: Dogs…my dog Pepper (she passed away in 2004)

How did you get into skating? I started when I was five years old when I went to a birthday party at the skating rink.
