2020 Spring Banked Track Camp & Track Invitational

With only 18 days away and the USOPC Velodrome officially closed until March 31, the Speed Committee made the difficult and most importantly smart decision, to cancel the 2020 Speed Skating Banked Track Camp/Clinic scheduled to begin the very next day on April 1. The timing of the Velodrome closure ending, and the camp beginning, simply presented too many challenges for it to be conducted successfully.

The entire world of sports has been subjected to unprecedented realities in the last 48 hours, and USA Roller Sports is no exception to that. However, this cancellation IN NO WAY IMPACTS our Banked Tracked and Road National Championships or our Indoor National Championships.

Both those events are further down the calendar with time being on our side. As such, we will continue to maintain our course of “BUSINESS AS USUAL” regarding not only the championships, but all operations of the organization.

For those individuals who registered for the event, the National Staff will work diligently to prepare refunds as soon as possible, and is available to answer any questions you may have.

Details regarding the qualification process that the camp/clinic provided will be evaluated and presented for public review as soon as possible, via the website and Speed Facebook page.

Until then, I personally request all of our members, family and friends to avoid rumors and speculation.
